The operating system for the physical world.
Sipsa Labs is a physical AI and robotics company building SIP, the operating system for the physical world, and the robots and autonomous systems that will run on it.
Different bodies. One living picture of the world.
The ambition is not one robot. It is an operating system through which robots, autonomous systems, and people will work together.
We are building SIP to connect senses, decisions, actions, coordination, and accountability. The robots and autonomous systems we build will put that operating system to work; they will not define the limit of the company.
Our long-term direction is a network of sites that will learn from one another while keeping local work local. The end goal is fleets of robots and autonomous systems that build, farm, mine and manufacture alongside people, then work where people cannot go, in orbit and beyond.
The way we build shapes what we build.
Whole-system thinking
Treat sensing, decisions, actions, people, and environment as one connected problem.
Evidence before claims
Say what the work supports, and keep detailed proof in review.
Clear boundaries
Make intended behavior, limits, and human responsibility understandable.
Learn through testing
Let tested work shape the next decision.
